Sectors · Industrial & labs
Industrial sites and laboratories, where the details are safety-critical.
Dangerous goods storage, laboratories and process areas bring hazards that ordinary HVAC doesn’t. We coordinate the mechanical services with the hazard requirements, the process and the people working there.

What matters
Getting the hazards right first.
On these sites the mechanical design has to follow the safety requirements, not the other way around.
- Equipment selected for hazardous-area requirements where they apply
- Exhaust and ventilation for dangerous goods storage
- Laboratory exhaust, make-up air and pressure relationships
- Process cooling and IT cooling loads
- Commissioning and maintenance documentation suited to the site
- Coordination with the hazard and process consultants
How we help
Services for industrial and laboratory sites.
Commercial mechanical
Tendered mechanical packages from tender review to handover.
Ventilation & IAQ
Outdoor air, filtration and heat recovery designed for the space.
Chillers & heat pumps
Climaveneta and E-Series modular plant through our Diamond Dealer status.
Commissioning & site reviews
Plant reviews, commissioning coordination and clear findings.
Project experience
Dangerous goods, laboratory and office.
Delivered by Treadies Pty Ltd, the company behind Air Theory.
Kewdale dangerous goods facility
Factory, dangerous goods storage, laboratory and office development — specified equipment coordinated with explosion-protection requirements, plus commissioning and maintenance documentation.
Do you design hazardous-area systems?
We coordinate the mechanical services with the project’s hazardous-area classification and the specialist consultants. Classification itself is set by the appropriately qualified party for the site.
Can you handle process cooling?
Process and IT cooling loads can be served by dedicated plant, including free-cooling and modular chillers. The selection depends on the load profile and redundancy required.
